CHRISTMAS AM PICS

CHRISTMAS? SO SOON???

Man, what happened? Christmas already? I can't believe another year has passed and we are decorating our homes and putting up the tree. Seems like we were justing doing that very thing! Life's pretty crazy as usual.. me working, Stan traveling, girls busy with school and all their activities. Makes me sad that I have let so much time slip away and not let my family and friends know how much I miss and love them.. Wishing you all a wonderful Christmas!!

MADDIE'S SCHOOL MUSIC PERFORMANCE

Maddie's middle school has a huge band participation. She got involved with playing last year starting with the basson. Once she realized how big and cumbersome that was, she changed to the clarinet. This year she has picked up learning the guitar. She really likes playing the guitar more than anything and hopefully will show us how to play. We went to her school's Christmas band performance and we were so impressed with how many great students and parents were involved.

MAKING CHRISTMAS COOKIES!!

Callie and I decides to give our great neighbors Christmas cookies this year. We made homemade Tollhouse chocolate chip, chocolate with white morsals, peanut butter blossoms, and sugar cookies. Everyone appreciated their gifts and we enjoyed making them for our friends!

HALLOWEEN !!!

This Halloween was a little different than what we have had in the past years. Maddie went over to a girlfriends house to trick or treat. So Callie and I along with the neighborhood kids hit the streets. Maddie went as a vampire pirate and Callie as a lunch lady! (Hairy mole and all) Stan went all out on the lights and decorations as usual. He stayed behind and sat outside with the neighbors passing out candy. He got the better job since he was able to kick back and drink and socialize. Maybe next year!!

MADDIE TURNS 13 !!!!

I can't believe my baby is 13!! Seems like yesterday when she was born. She had 6 girlfriends over for a sleepover. We went to a place called A Petrified Forest where an acre of land is covered with over 18 scary scenes and it seemed like over 50 characters that jump out at you in the dark. I ended up in the front of the line so I was the first to get scared out of my mind. Those girls made sounds they have never made before!! It was hilarious- we all had a blast!

FALL, FALL EVERYWHERE

Finally, the temps are changing. I do miss the changing leaves. Down here, there isn't much in terms of a change of season. We now have a chill in the air but the pams don't change. Hey, it's the price we pay for beautiful weather for the next 8 months!!

CALLIE'S 9th BIRTHDAY PARTY

Callie and 15 friends had fun for her birthday party this weekend at Monster Mini-Golf. They all had fun playing arcade games and mini golf. Of course, there was a sleepover! Maddie already had her birthday but her party has been postponed to this coming weekend. I'll keep you posted.

Belly Dancing for Stans 40 Something

We took Stan out to a Greek restaurant here in town for his birthday. Needless to say, he liked the show. The girls couldn't understand why the waitstaff kept throwing plates and napkins everywhere and shouting "Opa". Great clamari, greek salads and lamb kabobs. Happy Birthday, Boo!

Family Fun in Lake Oconee

We headed up to Atlanta before school started for our nephew, Nate's wedding. We all rented a Lake Villa at Cuscawilla in Lake Oconee where Bill and Alacia have a place and where the wedding would be. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time! I tell ya, getting our whole families together is a blast! Thanks for a great weekend!
