HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, LESLIE AND CHIP!
We celebrated Leslie and Chip's 30 year wedding anniversary while we were on our trip. What a great couple - we had so much fun and laughed until we hurt! Thanks for such a fun time!
OCHO RIOS, JAMAICA
We spent our day in Ocho Rios by climbing a 900 foot waterfall...slippery rocks and all!! It was scary and fun all in one! It's a long way up there and you don't realize what's involved with climbing the falls until you are doing it. Each step you make is critical to not falling and bringing your group down with you since you are all holding hands! The water was pretty but chilly!
After we survived the climb, we were taken to a private beach for all you can eat and drink with steel drum music being played! It was beautiful...loved the rum punch, mon!
KEY WEST!!!
We walked Doral Street into the heart of downtown Key West where we say Ernest Hemingway's home, random roosters on the street, and bought a t-shirt at Sloppy Joe's! After having a few beers and lunch at a local street restaurant, we headed back to the ship for more fun!
SUMMER CRUISE WITH THE FAMILY
We had the best time two weeks ago when Stan, the girls and myself went on a 6 day cruise with my sister Leslie and her husband Chip. We sailed to Key West, Grand Cayman and Ocho Rios, Jamaica.
The ship was beautiful and the food was fabulous! We loved going to ports we had never been to before. We visited 7 Mile Beach in Grand Cayman- the water was absolutely beautiful and walked up the 900 foot rock waterfall in Ocho Rios- that was terrifying!!
Needless to say, the girls first cruise was a hit and they want to know when we can go again!
