MISS YOU GUYS

Another shout out goes to my buddies from my old job. I haven't talked to anyone lately to get the latest and greatest on what I'm missing, but I know with this group there is always something fun to share!! Hope you all are doing well up there and try to stay out of trouble, would ya!

SHOUT OUT TO OUR OLD NEIGHBORS

Lately, memories of old friends that we left back in Kennesaw make us homesick for the familiar. I was going through pics the other day and wanted to post a special thank you to our great neighbors we left behind; Pam and Jason and their girls, Melissa and Jordan.
We were so happy to have them as one of our first out of town guests early this year. We had a great time going to Universal for our first time and Maddie and Callie got to catch up with their buddies. Thanks guys for making the drive to see us.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY BABY --MAY 18, 1991

Believe it or not, but Stan hasn't gotten rid of me yet!!
After 17 years, two great kids, numerous pets and several moves, we have survived to celebrate another anniversary. It seems like yesterday when we stood at the alter, Stan's broken toe and all, and sealed the deal. What a great party we had- thinking back I'm surprised no one was arrested that weekend. We have some crazy family and friends.
Stan and I enjoyed a more low key night by going out to Bonefish for a great dinner. I guess as we get older, we appreciate the uninterrupted conversations over a nice meal.

RELAY FOR LIFE @ STONEYBROOK 2008

Well, it has been a while since my last blog entry so I apologize for the fact that some of these pics are a little dated.
Early May, my family and friends in the 'hood were fortunate enough to participate in the ACS Relay for Life to generate donations for a tremendous cause very close to all of us. It was an emotional night of sharing, singing, and mostly walking from 6pm-midnight. I was expecially proud of Maddie and Callie's compassion when the luminaries were lit in memory of those lost and those still fighting this terrible disease.
Memories of my Uncle Hank and Stan's Dad, Robert, who both lost their battles with cancer were flooding to the surface for me and Stan. They were remarkable men who taught us so much. We miss their quick wit and beautiful smiles.
Thanks to everyone who supported me through donations- our total raised among all of the teams involved was over $70,000!! We are sooo proud!

GET THE NET!!!

Me, Stan and Callie went out on Austin's boat Saturday for the day to fish at a nearby lake. Within the first 15 minutes of fishing, Stan yells to me to get the net. He knew he had something big but not sure how big. He was sooo excited to land this bass and wanted everyone to see it. We let it go to be free with its cousins-Callie promises to catch one bigger next trip!

GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS

Poor Stan!! He is surrounded by females in this house. Maddie and Callie had a few girlfriends over for a spend the night this past Friday night. They played outside until dark and came in to watch a movie and eat pizza. Stan has said in a few years when "things" get real interesting, he is going to buy a boat with a very slow motor and head out fishing for the weekend. What a good sport!
